Communication Breakdown (2020)

A concerto for Tap Dancer and fixed media written in two parts. Movement I, “Point Break” follows a sonata allegro form and gives direct notated rhythms for the performer to follow. Movement II, “Serene” is to be improvised with indications of the fixed media in the score.

Gustav Holst’s First Suite in E-Flat (2020)

Arrangement by Cody Gemmal, part of Senior BA Music Project. I recorded this with a stereo pair and also played the Marimba 3 part.

Penn State Concert Band Recital (2020)

Director: Dr. Tonya Mitchell-Spradlin, I recorded the performance with a stereo pair, and two figure 8 microphones as well as helped record video of the performance. Nick Spradlin edited the recordings and videos together to be aired during Penn State’s virtual concert series for the School of Music.

Penn State Jazz Ensemble (2019)

This was part of a group recording session in a recording techniques class. I helped arrange the microphone configuration, record, and edit the final audio.
